Transparent and Simple Pricing

At Marmot Marketing, we want to keep you in the light about pricing and fully explain what you can expect to be billed when signing up for one of our plans. Here's a complete list of what to expect. If you have any questions please reach out to us brendan@marmotmarketing.ca or via our contact page

• 1. Website Development and Design Fee

  The fee for website development and design is determined by the basic or advanced plan selected. We provide financing options over a 1-year period with monthly payments, or alternatively, clients can opt for a 5% discount by paying the total amount upfront. This fee encompasses website design, content creation, implementation, maintenance, and any additional consulting or management services required for your website.

• 2. Hosting Fees - physical server that your site runs on

  Our websites are highly efficient and incur minimal hosting expenses. Websites experiencing high traffic will be subject to charges based on the fees of the chosen hosting provider, along with a modest administration fee of 5%. We recommend hosting with Google or Amazon. WE also recommend exploring different hosting providers fees for you understanding (some websites will qualify for free tier).

  Most of our customers are able to take advantage of free tier on any of these platforms providers.

• 3. Third Party Extensions and Integrations - mailing, jane app, chat bot

  For any third-party extensions and integrations such as mailing services, Jane App, chat bots, etc., additional fees may apply. The cost of these services varies based on the specific requirements, company, and functionalities needed for your website. We charge our clients the actual cost of the extensions, plus a 5% administration fee. You also may have the option to manage the extions yourself in which case there is no cost.

• 4. Digital Assets - photos and logo

  While we have a large collection of licensed assets, that we use for our customers websites without any additional charges, sometimes we need to hire/outsource photographers or a professional logo designer. There is no fee for connecting our clients with other professionals. If you want us to facilitate we charge a small administration fee. You are free to provide your own images as well

• 5. Domain Fees - www.example.com

  First Year

  Both our Basic and Advanced plans offer a free custom Domain registration including whois privacy that protects your identity. You can Expect no fees for the first year.

  Subsequent Years

  The Domain system works by charging everyone with a domain (e.g. example.com, example.ca, example.net), two fees on annual basis:

  • Whois Privacy Fee

    Whois privacy redacts your personal information for privacy. It is essential to keeping your personal information safe from scammers. Read more here.

  We charge our customers 30$ per year for the .com renewal (other domains may vary), this takes the stress away from management and assures you that you'll never lose your domain or leak private information. Lossing domain can be irreversable or cost thousands of dollars.
