The fee for website development and design depends on whether you choose a basic or a customized website. Basic websites start at $99; customized websites start at $1,499.
For customized websites we offer financing over a one-year term with monthly payments and a $499 down payment, or you can pay in full upfront and receive a 5% discount on the total.
This fee covers website design, implementation, and any consulting or project management your build requires. Separate fees may apply for photos, logos, and other digital assets; active SEO work (keyword research and content creation); and other add-on services.
Our websites are highly efficient and incur minimal hosting expenses. Websites experiencing high traffic will be subject to charges based on the fees of the chosen hosting provider, along with a modest administration fee of 5%. We recommend hosting with Google or Amazon as our preferred hosting providers.
We also recommend exploring different hosting providers' fees for your understanding. Some websites will qualify for a free tier and incur no hosting fees.
Additionally, other hosted services such as a CMS (content management system), email hosting, analytics, a CDN (content delivery network), and other add-ons may incur additional hosting fees.
Most of our customers are able to take advantage of a free tier on any of these platforms.
For any third-party extensions and integrations such as mailing services, Square, Shopify, Jane App, integrated payment gateways, chat bots, etc, additional fees may apply. The cost of these services varies based on the specific requirements, company, and functionalities needed for your website. We charge our clients the actual cost of the extensions, plus a 5% administration fee. You may also have the option to manage the extensions yourself, in which case there is no cost.
While we have a large collection of licensed stock assets that we use for our customers' websites without any additional charges, sometimes we need to hire or outsource photographers or a professional logo designer. There is no fee for connecting our clients with other professionals. If you want us to facilitate, we charge a small administration fee. You are free to provide your own images as well.
Basic websites. Yearly ongoing updates are kept deliberately affordable. They focus mainly on what keeps your site safe and stable: security-related updates, dependency and patch cycles, and light housekeeping so your stack does not fall behind.
Custom websites. The same security-first baseline applies, but ongoing work can also include modernization and improvement: performance tuning, UX refinements, framework or integration upgrades, and other enhancements scoped to your roadmap and priorities.
Exact scope and pricing depend on how long it takes to complete the work and how your site is built. typically we charge between $50 and$100 per hour for ongoing updates (half hour minimum).
Both our Basic and customized websites offer a free custom domain registration including WHOIS privacy that protects your identity. You can expect no fees for the first year for .com domains. Other domains, including .ca, .net, etc, may vary.

We charge our customers approximatly $30 per year for the .com renewal and $50 for .ca domain renewals (other domains may vary). This takes the stress away from management and assures you that you will never lose your domain or leak private information. Losing a domain can be irreversible or cost thousands of dollars.
